Academics:
Northwestern High School is a co-educational, zone comprehensive high school that is populated by several feeder schools: Roland Patterson Academy, Greenspring Middle, Pimlico Middle, Robert Poole Middle, and other K-8 schools.

Our curriculum offerings are designed to graduate students with preparation for post secondary education or career/college preparation.  Students are able to develop skills necessary for success in their everyday lives and for meeting high school graduation criteria.  Northwestern offers several career concentrations in the following areas: Law, Journalism and Media, Business Administration & Entrepreneurship (NFTE), CISCO, and Junior ROTC.
